Red. A character...a larrikin a supportive friend and a bloody good poet. I wonder who the person behind the name is? 'If One Day I Could Spend The Night' is a work of art and I love all the beauty I find in it every time I visit. Gherkins now make me giggle every time I see them and the strange looks don't, can't, stop that kind of happy. I love to laugh and Red has helped me do that. Slow Movin Tights belongs in a smoky Southern Jazz bar on the lips of a raspy, home cooked musician who leaves his guitar to tell the hidden bluesy layers inside it.
Red has a knack of slowing the pace of his words....and speeding them up at the same time. I don't mind how...or why this talent was uncovered....only that it was, and I'm grateful: -)

And we could dine on pizza and red wine,
in the softly glowing firelight,
one day, perhaps, if I could spend the night.

One day, perhaps if I could spend the night,
there would be nothing hurried,
no urgency in either life,
and we could have another glass of ...
