The daylight turned to black and left me here
The sun went down and wind began to blow
Never have I seen a night so clear
And never have I felt a night so cold!

The east goes far beyond my soul
as twelve white horses fled
had they only known my woe
of rising from the dead

There's a war I never finished fighting,
it haunts me still.
A war that no one won,
and no one ever will
...

Beyond all six and past upon by cloves,
there wasn't any reason why,
the birds and raindrops came in droves,
but spring was drawing nigh.
...

If only the sun had not set just beyond my hopes,
and rabbits hadn't flown away to meet thier dream.
we hired a man who claimed he knew the ropes,
and thanked the stars for early morning gleam.
