Such a happy occasion

Where have the years gone?
I can remember a time when we were so close we could finish each other’s sentences.
Since when did time start passing quickly in the blink of an eye?
Wasn’t it just yesterday when we could sense each other’s moods just by standing it the same room?

The road of love
Is narrow and high up
And sometimes you land on it
Unexpectedly
...

I hate when he does this to me, mixing my emotions together like some kind of gumbo soup, mixing things that shouldn't match, my lows…my highs…
But… when we're up we're so high we can see the universe. One hit from him shoots up my veins driving my mind into a period of euphoria
And yet when I crash, I crash alone into the depths of the earth yearning for a single hand, a glance…a word
….and if not a word, a letter, a symbol..a sign?
