The guests arrive like migrating birds
Their consummate wings for perfect seasons,
Their inscrutable gestures and incoherent voices,

When I opened my mouth,
The waves made their way
My haywire tongue that surged
My long confined words,

Still I quest your love,
In sands the spellings scribbled,
The waves did not wait and
Took away the words.

She walked daintily down the steps,
The charm she holds,
The sensuous petals opening in dawn….
The dews sprinkled in the cold.

When I hear him saying love,
I take my shirt off and show him
The scars, the ache undergone
When sky was silent…

In your silence I weep,
The bewildered lines of my pen
Not enough to shape my tears.
The silence rests at night nearby

Your nearness that I fancied
Stretching out underneath the night firmament,
The blazing stars and bleary moonlight’s hasty gleam,
The phosphoresce fireflies shimmered in nocturnal winds,

Haven’t we scuttled through the worn out avenues
Like enervated ramblers? We had dreams
That glimpsed to be one, those pubescent visages
Were like pearls twined in singular yarn.
