I'm asleep
I must be dreaming
this can't happen
you can't just leave

I dream a dream
one of hope and happiness
I dream a dream
on of no pain or suffering
...

How did I get this way
hurting those I love
how did I get this way
feeling the way i feel
...

You stuck with me
even when I pushed you away
You held me up
even when I was falling
...

Bad news of the worst
no time to say good-bye
no time to lay to rest
I'm trying not to cry
...

As this day ends
and tomorrow begins
the memories we've made
can never really fade
...

Another year older
yet I still feel the same
there is still pain
my hear is still broken
...
