you left too early dear old dad
so let's do the things we never had

One Last Kiss Before I Die

A Shepard in desperation and thirst I be
alone in this desert my goats and me
staff in hand I kneel and begin to pray
when sweet dear maiden cometh my way

On first sight, I see dancing bright red hair
then strangely I'm transfixed to her stare
her open earthy eyes shoot vines into mine
my heart drinking her deep red wine

Feeling a vibrant warmth in my chest
all fears of dying I do immediately arrest
her silky porcelain skin and golden face so pure
with slow, deliberate steps, she does gently allure

A breath-taking powerfully attractive charm
sensuous goddess from a biblical psalm
her long naked body drawing slowly near
with garland dancing from her flowing hair

Grass and flowers of yellow come into view
behind her a lake and soft sky of blue
with a golden chalice in hand, she does cease
and rushing time in me does rapidly increase

Whirling kissing lips flesh tongue pressing bones
voluptuous rapture pleasure music in lover's tones
hands gripping bodies flying arching voice
eyes diving into water edge of beach foams

Exploding with uncontrollable bliss, I gasp
dear God make this heavenly moment last
alas this but a dream state does appear to me
as I spit out mouthfuls of sand into the false sea

In this harsh desert before I die
I laugh out loud I do not cry
I have her lord, and she is mine
I have her for all blessed time
