I TRIED to train my tongue,
But my pen was quicker,
Tired to libate as encouragement
but I have no taste for liquor
...

I DO not waltz in other dimensions,
I am tripping through my own,
One 3-D impression
and yet I stand alone.
...

Don't SWALLOW me
I will taste bitter and burn the edges of your tongue
My outsides sweet,
my innards deliver,
...

I AM not found, I am discovered
In light pollution that drains down the back of a skyscraper's neck.
I do not arrive, I am delivered
On wings in the wind whose flimsy sails hoist ghosts to heaven's heights.

I Tried To Train My Tongue

I TRIED to train my tongue,
But my pen was quicker,
Tired to libate as encouragement
but I have no taste for liquor
Now I only speak my mind,
If the words are rightly rhymed
or can be said in time
I wasn't always this young
I used to think I was older
I suffered from an ego death, the likes of which you can't prevent
I can't tell if the past upsets/resets/prevents
Or just becomes irrelevant
