As my hands clutch for a semblance of you

Pick yourself up when you fall,
When all or nothing gives you nothing at all,
Or something precious turns out to be a game,
Leaving you with your head hanging in shame

Voices
In my head
To demean, break, hate
Wasn't always this way

Did you know?
I always wanted to be you.
Every day
Trying to mimic your actions

You own half of me.
You always have, you always will.
The half willing to share,
To give,

I regret
Trusting you
Giving you a piece of me
That I'd never get back

There is a pain
That knows no bodily sensation
