Resilience Poem by Surabhi Singh

Resilience

Rating: 5.0

Pick yourself up when you fall,
When all or nothing gives you nothing at all,
Or something precious turns out to be a game,
Leaving you with your head hanging in shame

Dust the dirt off of your knees,
When the people you love aren't pleased,
And you feel like you let yourself down,
Rest assured, you'll turn this around

Hold your head up, high and straight,
The things you'll do are bound to be great,
You'll deal with happiness, sadness, hate, and love
But you'll conquer it all because you are enough
