When you've grown numb to life's daily grind,
And you're quickly losing your sense of time,
Stuck stalking the elusive find,
That slowly starts to engulf your mind,

I live to give faith to the faithless,
To stir hope in the hopeless,
To be the breath that leaves them breathless,
...

Give me golden dreams to dream,
Eyes to see what is unseen,
Ears to hear the pounding beat,
Of the far off city streets.
...

I'll miss these days,
Strung out further than highways,
With passioned hearts not soon to fade,
Always to dance beneath the summer shade.

No words need be spoke,
To understand,
The feel of your face, Burning,
Distant. Wandering.

I'm tired,
So goddamn tired,
I need my rest, my eight hours,
I need to escape from these false smiling faces,

I find there is as much beauty,
In a dirty dreary prisonyard,
As there is in the richest palaces of Rome,

Be careful...

The longer you stare at the stars,
Or an old photograph,

Follow Me

If i were to leave today,
And bleed into the 'morrow,
Would you follow me?
To wonder the mysterious halls,
To sway in the sweet abyss,
The soft sanctuary,
That lies behind,
The limits of a defined mind.

Drift beyond reality,
Into lush insanity,
The realm of death, fear, and pain,
The true weakness of the human brain,
The things that let you touch insasne.

Nothing can crush a human's soul,
'Cept the pain of love,
The fear of living,
And the death of life.

So tell me what scares you,
Tell me what dwells,
In the dark ruined realms,
Of your faltered shrine,
Between the crossroads of your lonely mind,
Where now is non-existent,
Where your free to walk the miles of time
The desolate graveyard,
Where memories burn alive.

Beyond the twisted grip of lies decay,
Way beyond the sullen grey.
