For every stone
thrown at me

I collected them and
...

I'm a wild horse that can't be tamed
Only from afar you'd admire
I am stunning and beautiful
I am fire
...

Lucifer offered me a Lamborghini.
I said, 'No thanks.'

He said, 'that voluptuous woman
...

Danger lurks at every corner,
someone said

And it was there at the first corner
...

When was the last time
I took a leap of faith?

I can't recall.

The Best Poem Of Teo Yang

For Every Stone Thrown At Me

For every stone
thrown at me

I collected them and
painted them
each
colorfully

some red
some yellow
some green
some blue
some indigo
some violet

then carry them
in my backpack

hike to a
waterfall

and right next to it
I lay the stones in a pile

and seconds later…

a rainbow burst out
of the pile
pulling its arc
across the waterfall

as I stand there
in awe

with joyful tears
streaking down
my cheeks
