For Every Stone Thrown At Me Poem by Teo Yang

For Every Stone Thrown At Me

Rating: 5.0

For every stone
thrown at me

I collected them and
painted them
each
colorfully

some red
some yellow
some green
some blue
some indigo
some violet

then carry them
in my backpack

hike to a
waterfall

and right next to it
I lay the stones in a pile

and seconds later…

a rainbow burst out
of the pile
pulling its arc
across the waterfall

as I stand there
in awe

with joyful tears
streaking down
my cheeks

To turn the stones thrown at you, into a rainbow is the most wonderful gift! ! Loved the poem.

Wow---What a beautiful poem! You create every stone hurled at you into beautiful colour! Without brooding over the hurts you engage in wonderful creation.
