See the mailbox with the bills -
Always bills!

On behalf of the slime mold I make my plea
Let's treat them, please, more kind-i-ly
Let's not ignore them when we meet
Nor waffle-stomp them with our feet

Cards were swiped as signals blinked
Wipers swished, horns beeped

One Dull Day (And What I Did)

The day was dull so on a whim
I microwaved a Twinkie
A minute one, a minute two
The snack turned shriveled, shrinky
A moment hence the sponge cake oozed
Cream filling, thick and inky
And soon the kitchen filled with smoke
Believe me it was stinky!

So next time when my day is dull
I'll just play with my Slinky
Or walk the dog or read a book
Or clean the bathroom sinky
But what I won't do you can bet
Is microwave a Twinkie!
