Tori Bachue Poems

1.

Temptation, your face
But I won't give in
I can't surrender
Live your life, with her -
...

2.

You jump in life, in a bliss
With me watching up at you
Locked down in chains of apathy and self-hatred
Kneeling down without a choice
...

3.

The wheel of the year
Turns and turns
The world kept moving
When I died.
...

4.

You never laugh
It seems
Not truly
Reserved in delight
...

5.

I see what is not there

Her, falling towards me
...

6.

I was about to run

But something made me turn
...

7.

These false signs are hard to resist

Like a bouquet of flowers
...

8.

What flows underneath
Drops of this could save a life
If you stayed – I’m here
Maybe you just didn’t look hard enough
...

9.

It's never enough, it just keeps coming
And stormy waterfalls
don't bring any peace
As I listen to your rain
...

10.

Two different states of being
I moved to the plane of falsity long ago
But as I smile and joke
With each passing tragedy
...

11.

Mirrors, that little thing in the corner of my eye
Sneaking and begging to be named
Out loud but I refuse
As she would reject my truth
...

12.

Closing my eyes
A pine tree with a heavy dress
Seeing stars in daylight
And I fall every time your blues meet mine.
...

13.

The song of a burning room
A slow dance that finally makes sense
Watching myself walk away with you
The towers of light counting
...

In a line of fools
Who never saw the light
Negate tradition
And you'll find me
...

15.

In coded exchange, it began
When I was mining the stars
I never expected one to fall
For the sake of my lustful little song

16.

Thinking off him
Longing for you
Crying over him
Losing myself in you
...

17.

Ignorant and unwilling as you are
You keep on ignoring me
Yet you're so near perfection
My heart skips a beat
...

18.

Oh, my sweet dream
My sweet, sweet rose
That which lays so dearly
There, right in front of me
...

19.

Two lovers, finding each other
Recognizing one another
The passion of a thousand flames
The power of a thousand bolts
...

My life, my love, my heart, I'd give
To the blinding passion for which I live
That sweet rose with its damned thorns,
the pleasure within the sheer agony of this all -

Tori Bachue Biography

I suppose I can be short on this one. I'm just a teenage girl, with a wish to write proper poetry some day. I'm planning on using this page to see what your opinion is on the attempts I make at that. As I'm still young, I guess my subjects can be a bit childish and all, but anyway... Any (constructive) criticism is welcome!)

Temptation, your face
But I won't give in
I can't surrender
Live your life, with her -
Stay in the dark
Without knowing that's where I hide
It's you I want
So I'll chase after him
And run -
Far away from here
This love won't do us any good
Hatred, and guilt
Overtaking everyone
Blame Cupid, if any
No choice has been made - yet.
Ignorance is a bless
Hate me, for your sake
Taunt me, for mine
Maybe everything will stay like this
Illusion - the tides that'll come and go
A full moon, a new start
The cylce must be broken, the circle must be gone
Love and lust, mixed up
Obsession, running from
Fleeing - right?
Safety, security
If not with you
I surrender
But not to you
Elements - Skies - Guide me, help me
Save me
