How a glimpse from afar brought a feeling so strong,
Couldn’t make out a face but I felt that connection,
I could tell you wouldn’t be a stranger for long

Pause, break
If only for my sake
Turn around and walk don't you dare look back
cause I’m still wheeling from your last attack
...

They smile and stare, yet it's like I'm not there;
they just look right pass me and every move I make,
They ask ‘how yah doing’, I know they don't care,
it’s just an old habit they don’t try to break
...

I lost my mind
love is really blind

I’m there but I’m not
...

I understand why you’re no longer here
It’s not that you don’t love me
Or that you don’t really care
Death stole the life that meant the world to you
...

I fail to understand your so-called logic,
Which speaks life into you leaves me confused
I wonder why you make things oh so tragic,
Why you play a game you know you’re bound to lose
...
