I fail to understand your so-called logic,
Which speaks life into you leaves me confused
I wonder why you make things oh so tragic,
Why you play a game you know you’re bound to lose
For reasons unknown I forgive not forget
I welcome with outstretched arms a damnéd love,
That festers into months grieved in hurt and regret
Three strikes you’re out, I’ll prove to you,
As I brave yet another of your treacherous storms
You think all is well, that we’ve started anew,
That we’ve continued our love; nothing out of the norms
I play the game, I play it well and you don’t even hesitate
To shower me with futile modes of affection
Which make me sing too late too late
Then one day my patience thins
Tired of your trick, here’s one for you
I’ve commit another cardiac murder to add to my list of sins
