I am a child of God,

The wound is gone, a scar remains
The flesh no longer torn apart
Where I cannot your love sustains.

Alive, but barely living
She, The Cripple, trudged along

Mothers are pure in heart;
Open arms that welcome children.
They show the world love and joy;
Helping all along their way.

Some days I'll have a Demon Day
When demons come around to play.
They fill my heart and my mind.
I fear the evil things they say.

An endless night will turn to day:
The sun will be set in the heavens.

We feel the darkness won't go away:
