Winter, winter, how I feel your icy touch
The earth is under your freezing clutch
I hear the roar of gales from far
The sky is overcast without a single star

To escape the bite of frost at night
People slide their torso into tightly made beds
They wrap themselves in several folds of wool
Forming into cocoons and lie down hibernating

The Valley On A Winter Night

The chill of winter bites into the skin
And the valley sleeps in muffled din
In the freezing blustery winter night
The shivering trees stay huddled and tight
