To escape the bite of frost at night
People slide their torso into tightly made beds
They wrap themselves in several folds of wool
Forming into cocoons and lie down hibernating
To emerge like butterflies in spring
This is a wonderful poem Valsa ma'am.. The comparison between butterflies and human beings is aptly placed and brings a joy to the reader.. Minutely observed, wonderfully crafted.. Thank you for sharing.
They wrap themselves in several folds of wool Forming into cocoons and lie down hibernating To emerge like butterflies in spring. Amazing style of narration of the hibernating compulsions of people in the west during winter. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
