It Was Untrue
The story I told was quite untrue as I tried to fool all of you,
A poet was I, I`m ashamed to have said,
Now I`m sorry to say you have all been misled.
To be honest I only write simple lines
Then jiggle them about to create a few rhymes,
But I`m trying and learning
Now happy to say
With luck I`ll be a poet one day.
