.630 Poems into Retirement (ADULT CONTENT HERE)

I write poems about my neighbor’s dog now
barking at the sun coming up.
The crack whores along Buffalo Avenue
are just memories leaning into my truck window
offering their service,
sometimes for just the change laying on top
the engine cover hump between front seats.

That fuckin dog seems to be is all I have on my mind!
Staring into my yard 6: 40 AM whining like someone
has their finger shoved up his ass!

Something I’m sure on a slow night would’ve cost no more
then that spare change laying on that engine cover hump
from one of them crack whores
along Buffalo Avenue.
