A Hidden Clue

lily, lily,
a country girl,
a simple girl,
who wants to say,
a thing or two,
but can not do it,
without a clue,
she'd rather write
a simpler way
to describe her life

with a pen and paper,
anticipates to write
shes settles down
ready for words
to appear on sight
cant begin
cant think straight
lost like a puppy
on a stormy night

so here u go
a clue for you,
to write down fast
and not think through,
put it down
and go to sleep,
wake up soon,
continue writing through,

second clue
to speak your mind.
dont judge your work,
its one of a kind.

third clue
from me to you,
theres a magic source,
for better writing,
its in a magic book,
the book is called
lilly sanchez,
sold in barneys
in the aisle,
books for dummies

read it good,
the clues are here
but we all know
theres no need to write
your eyes
paint a picture
of a thousand words

or better yet
you say enough
we that cute smile
you hide in the rough.
the book of lilly sanchez
published by the master
which is herself
she doesnt even know it
lifes wondeful mysteries
wrapped in a shell.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
