A Vision Shared - Poem by The Silent Sword

I see a wife, and children, too,
When I see her eyes.
A sturdy house, warm and safe,
Where all things happy lie.

To see myself, without her there,
Means my future's in the dark.
A sightless scene within the black,
Brightened by my loving heart.

But this scene I see, within her eyes,
Could not be seen before we fell,
Until and after we agreed
To love each other well.
