A4e is a work programme that is meant to help
you get back to work if you get laid of from work.
But like all things in life it does not work like that.
If you google A4e you will see how bad it can be.
If anyone else has had these problems please let me know.
If anyone wants to use this poem to show what can happen
on these work programmes please feel
free to do so. Justice is for everyone and everything.

A4e (work programme)
They get in your head
they are like an organization
of death
They can use you
they can abuse you
they can do whatever
they like to you
You've got to do
whatever they say
or they'll stop your pay
They can send you to places
you don't need to go
They can make you do courses
you don't need to do
You can go for a job interview
then they say,
You didn't tell us
We are going to stop your pay
Then you say,
but I did tell you
Then they say,
it doesn't matter
we're going to stop
your pay anyway
A4e needs to go away
they are messing with peoples families
who need the pay
they have debts to pay
It's not our fault
the government have turned
the world this way
Government and A4e
You are a bunch of idiots

Action for Employment, they have one where I live, your words are so true, making us do courses we don't need to do (like basic literacy or computers) its so stupid. They should help people properly by helping referring them onto courses / work placements that match the talents they already have, instead of presuming because we aint working we're stupid. It's a scandal just so the people at the jobcentre have something to write on their paperwork, so it looks to the government that they are meeting targets. Your poem is brilliant! It captures the stupidity of it all perfectly
The words are lovely and simple and brings out the feeling
Justice should be for everyone and everything, but in this life it rarely works out that way. All best wishes.
All the best Dave, thinking of you,
sounds like the work programs here... that dont work! feel your pain!
