(Acrid) In the Storm Between the Shores
Somewhere
Between the shores
Of evergreen Everland
And the Isle of Roars,
I bob and stray
In the eventide of the storm,
Coasting and shifting,
Drifting into its beastly form.
Somewhere
Between the Everland groves
And the lava from
Growling volcano coves,
I wonder if I will
Sit on that green hill aloft,
Or end up in that flame...
...that grass looks sweet and soft...
...but that fire
Should put this storm to shame.

i love your descriptions but wonder how the fire would put this storm to shame.
Your poetry is so flowing, it is as liquid as the sea you often describe. Why haven't I seen your poems before? I have some catching up to do. This one goes into my favorites. Back to your page... Lori
