`Ballad Of The Boy Wounded By The Water (I)

The road is dark
The skin is black
Stains of hate and blood
Manifest in his song
His world, devoid the
Gleam of life
So he do not cry
He rides down the part
With leaden heart.
O' city of dead
Here I come for light
Wound me O' sea born
Beyond sorrows of
Yesteryore,
O' city of black blood
Your banner hoist
beyond gleam
I see water maidens
Dancing the limbo of
my sins
On the electrical
Jaggery of their waist beeds.
