You disguise your hate as love
Over and over in your mind
You beat me and eat me alive
Leave me to die
When you look at me
Your eyes burn with hatred and envy
Thinking the entire (whole) time I don’t notice
You use your slick words as jokes
Thinking I don’t see
That you are my worst enemy
Why can’t you just come clean
Or leave me
Alone

What was it I ever did to you
How did I offend you
Should I say I’m sorry, break down and apologize
No I don’t think so
Maybe its my man, my style, or my smile
Whatever it is, I don’t owe you anything
I’ve worked hard to get what I’ve got
And I thank God for every blessing

Getting caught up, You are so selfish
Always thinkin of you only
Thinkin people should bow down
Your attitude is so nasty, Your stares so jealous
There is much malice behind your fake ass smile
Who do you really think you’re foolin
You don’t even love yourself
Cuz if you did, you wouldn’t behave and treat people this way
I hope that you come to a resolution, Before it’s too late
And figure things out within yourself
Stop livin a lie, Stop livin in hate

It’s obvious you have issues, girl
But be careful, be careful baby
Cuz if you’re not, you will be the one
Eaten alive, Not me
Eaten alive by yourself
And your own insecurity

Perfect what you’ve got, my friend
And stop hating on me
If you only spent more time on you
You would realize how beautiful you can be
Don’t blame me

What was it I ever did to you
How did I offend you
Should I say I’m sorry, break down and apologize
No I don’t think so
Maybe its my man, my style, or my smile
Whatever it is, I don’t owe you anything
I’ve worked hard to get what I’ve got
And I thank God for every blessing
