DIFFERENCE BETWEEN - SOMEBODY YOU LOVE & SOMEBODY YOU LIKE

In front of the person you love, your heart beats faster.
But in front of the person you like, you get happy.
In front of the person you love, winter seems like spring.
But in front of the person you like, winter is just beautiful winter.
if you look into the eyes of the one you love, you blush.
But if you look into the eyes of the one you like, you smile.
In front of the person you love, you can't say everything on your mind.
But in front of the person you like, you can.

In front of the person you love, you tend to get shy.
But in front of the person you like, you can show your own self.
you can't look straight into the eyes of the one you love.
But you can always smile into the eyes of the one you like.
When the one you love is crying, you cry with them.
But when the one you like is crying, you end up comforting.
The feeling of love starts from the eye.
But the feeling of liking starts from the heart

    yeah i agree with the poet but the last line i think love starts from the heart too? ? ? ?
    anyway its a beautiful realistic and truthful poem!

    I truly agree with the poet himself. It happened to me., but nobody does it on purpose. It's true I overcome with shyness infront of the person I love, and worst of all I get clumsy. Sometimes I forget the things I wanted to tell him when he looks me in my eye. I just melt like a candle..

    I like exploring the difference between these two concepts. For me, however, one is imperative and the other uncontrollable. You guess which one or the many ramifications of either.

    Well if you can't be yourself with the one you love, how can it be love..? Love is trust and showing your love, how can you not be honest with the one you love...
