Friendly Witch Of The Night

Late at night when
everyone is sound
asleep,
A witch comes out
to fly around on her
broomstick.

Circling high above
the houses,
Flying down low,
She hovers around
each window,
Making sure everyone
is sleeping.

She wears a pointed
hat that sparkles
red,
She wears a cloak
covered in diamonds,
In the moonlight she
shines like a colorful
shining star.

She prefers to keep
to herself most
times,
Always making sure
she is out of sight,
A shy witch she is,
Different from most
of her kind.

She has heart that is
warm and cheerful,
You would certainly
think she was like an
angel,
Flying around the sky
at night.

When morning light
arrives,
She disappears back to
her cottage deep in the
woods,
This is where she feels
more peaceful throughout
the day.

Until tomorrow night
comes again,
She will fly on her
broomstick,
Always keeping an eye
on those that sleep,
making sure she fills
the night with plenty
of magical cheers of
joy.
