Golden Opportunity

Every task
That comes your way's
A golden opportunity
To prove your ability.

The task may look
Formidable at first
Yet it's a chance
Coming your way.

Do all you can
To perform the job
To satisfy yourself
And satisfy all.

Life's full of
Many such prospects
Some recognized
Some unnoticed.

A lost chance's not
A thing to worry about
Key's not to miss
The next one that comes.

Always perform
At your best and hope
Good things'll happen
When you give all you have.

Poem of the Day

poet Robert William Service

Just Home and Love! the words are small
Four little letters unto each;
And yet you will not find in all
The wide and gracious range of speech
Two more so tenderly complete:
