Great teardrops,
Raining from the sky,
Looking like angel wings,
Sounding like a sigh...
Do they hide anger,
Or pain that rips the soul,
Or joy unbound
From love untold?
Do they bring relief,
Or pain to your heart.?
Do they bring us together
Or tear us apart?
Would you change what happens
That brings such a flood
Of tears, wept through
Your veins, like your blood,
Bringing life, or pain, or death,
Release, or prison for your heart?
Or would you leave it be, be glad
That you are alive enough to weep?
