I Love You Like A Cup Of Tea

I love you like a cup of tea,
Sipping the rainy morning.
I love you like a window seat,
Singing a song a wee offbeat.

I love you like a family picture,
Smiles waving like a spree.
I love you like wet mud,
The odour of the monsoon-to be.

I love you like a favourite book,
Each moment I want to live of.
I love you like a favourite song,
Playing in my head on default.

I love you like a child’s smile.
Some hope for hopes sustained.
I love you like that secret wish,
One that’s worthy dying for.

Beholding me that all the pageants play,
Disguysing diversly my troubled wits.
