Anna Kirshenbaum

I loved a boy

Once long ago
I loved a boy.
Today he'll marry someone else.
I have a side in me that says:
My God, I wish you every happiness
that's to be found in this world
and in this life. No, ten times more.
But I have other side,
that bleeds and dies...
