In Memory of My Dad

twelve years have
past... but it
feels like
yesterday

Ii cant even
begin to explain
how much Ii
miss youu

timee slips past
soo fastly.. Ii just
wish i could pass
time with youu
here

my one biggest
dream is for youu
to be here with
me one last time

there is nobody
like you.. Ii
admire you so
much... for being
so strong

all the memories
we shared... will
remain in my heart
forever.... Ii wish
there could be more

time that we
shared wont ever
be forgotten.. and
neither will youu

if Ii ever let you
down im sorry... if i
ever hurt youu im
sorry.. and if Ii never
shown how much Ii
loved you... im sorry

nobody can makee
mee laugh the way
youu used to... Ii
miss your rude
comments and jokes.....

Ii miss how we used
to tickle eachothers
backs.... Ii miss the
way you cared.....

but most
importantly....
Ii miss.....
youuu

it hurts to much to
think how Ii will
never see youu again...
but Ii knw you're
with me. helping me
through my life...

Ii know youu will
guide me in thee
right direction... Ii
will make you
proud of me dad

one day.... Ii
hope to see
youu again...

youuu were such an
amazing father,
husband and son... if
only everyone realised
the way ii did...

youu didnt
deserve the pain....
youu didnt
deserve any
wrong...

the way youu
squeezed my hand
the last day ii
ever saw youu...
it ment alot...

though youu couldnt
talk... youu done
your best to show
me youu was
listening...

looking back
now... ii wish ii
could of told youu
all the things ii
wanted to say...

but... the
shock hit me
like
lightening

seeing youu like that
was.... the shock of
my life... it was soo
sad to see you in
such a bad condition

nobody deserves the
pain... especially not
youu... youu were so
strong and youu held
on to your last
moment...

even though ii
miss you... im
glad youu let
go... now you're
no longer in pain

he last week we
spent together... was
the hardest part...
knowing when our
time together was
up...

ii was never to
see my dad, my
best friend, my
hero... ever again

rest in peace
dad... you
are never to
be forgotten...

ii love youuu
more then ii
could ever
show <3

Brilliant! It's really wonderful to feel the outburst of a young poet. And you did it so well. Your late Dad would be proud of you if he gets the chance to read this.

There's something important you need to take note of, though.

Never stop writing! You're good at it! (Report) Reply
