Love

A blissful kiss
to make the heart race
Soft to the touch
like velvet silk
Goose-bumps rising on the skin
to give shivers here and there
While you are standing on the edge of a cliff,
ready to jump
ready to feel the adrenaline rush
ready to feel the wind blow your hair back while you 'fly'.
Feeling free
you become selfish
Closing your eyes
you become oblivious to reality
shutting everything out but this moment.
heart beating uncontrollably
Mind occupied with sweet promises of forever.....

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
