Love Softly - Poem by Kelly Zion
If I could just touch you softly
rest my head against your arm
you know I just love you softly
I would never do you harm.
If everyone loved like that,
when they're hurting,
when they're lonely
if they could just love like that
the world would be a beautiful place.
There wouldn't be all these problems in the world
all these people doing each other hurt.
Stroke your arm with my fingers
just a soft touch
Why do so many people feel with their lusts
instead of gentle love?
You know how beautiful a place it would be
if everyone just loved softly.
(Oh Baby, you know I'll always
love you softly.)
