Tiger Lily

Memoirs Of A Mother (P.3) - Poem by Tiger Lily

Silvery smooth taut lines
Glide along her skin
Soft scars, reminders of the pain
The battle fought within
Bringing forth new life
Such tiny grace
Suddenly a cry
A Warm tender embrace
Mother and child
The bond is forged
Purple hearts unseen
But silently adorned
And who could deserve it more
