Mountain of Determination

Mountain of determination
Stands tall
Rock-like is the resolve
Fresh snow
Like clarity of thoughts
Gathers on the top
Hardens into ice
Temperature changes
Unpredictable as ever
Thaw exposed surface
Melting water seeps down
Gathering into a stream
Source of the great
River of life
... or an avalanche of lost hope.

Wow. Fantastic poem. One who stands on firm decision is like standing on Mountain of Determination, where nothing can stop from going a head. Loved reading it. (Report) Reply

Amazing write sir. nicely portrayed the character of a cool person who is stand-still on his firm decision.
adding the flow of river with that of human life is an extra beauty of the poem.

dear poet. i am honored. and thanks for sharing and appreciation.
determination is based on life. there are always changes in life. or life is there to be changed every moment. thus life should propagate. whether hope is brighten or dim. or hope is lost in a phase of change. but there is life and there will be hope again.
very nice poem with hard work. (Report) Reply

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
