My Own Solitude

My own solitude
Keeps building up
Unbearable it is
Turns me inside out.

My own solitude
With pen in hand
I break it writing
A poem of fallen leaf.

My own solitude
I begin to love
It makes me dream
Your presence.

My own solitude
Disappears when
You drop in to say
I miss you.

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
