What if one fine day,
you know you can fly?
I'll watch you from my terrace,
I'll see you passing by.
You will be one of those birds,
in the sky which glide.
There'll be a cause for your joy,
there'll be a reason for your pride.
You'll walk on the clouds,
you will sail on the winds,
and I wish if I could know,
the joy that it brings.
Of which color is horizon?
How is the sky young and blue?
Why are clouds dark sometimes?
How are made pearls of dew?
I wish you find these answers,
for I have doubts many more,
for mere science isn't enough,
of heard explanations I'm not sure.
The place that my eyes can't see,
you will reach a place so high.
Don't you forget to tell me,
how does Everest look from sky?
If someone gets wings one day,
I hope that someone is you,
How I hope my this wish,
one day comes true.
A lovely poem Rishab....Flying in the air like a bird would be definitely a thrilling experience. How often I have dreamt of being a bird... Walking over clouds and sailing in the wind are simply exciting.... A person who has first hand experience of the sky will be able extricate some of the mysteries of the rotating spheres and the luminous stars! Enjoyed this perfectly rhyming poem!
