Tear for a fear

I press my pen against the paper,
writing down my muse, through ink.
These words i treasure, i value,
are for you my love, so listen.

Like a flightless bird,
with broken wings i tweet,
this sweet song of rapture,
I sing for you my love, so listen.

A tear for a fear, I write.
These words may drown through in time.
Would it not reach you my love?
As they are for you, listen closely so.
