That Ship Has Sailed

I told you how i felt, you just laughed
Well, im the one laughing now there bud, ive moved on
And after all this time you decide to tell me
That you care? That you love me? ...Im sorry im gone

Sorry baby your just a little too late
That ship has sailed long ago
Now its my turn to laugh and make fun
Even though it hurt i never let it show
What you did, ill never let it go
So now im going to just say
Good-bye!

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
