The Desperate Voice

I pushed myself a thousand times
but still i don't know the reason why
this darkness can't leave me behind

Tried a lot to lift the past
and bury it deep down me
but guilt is is the worst pain in a soul
which eats you till you are hollow

So tell me maiden, hear my heart
Can you heal me? ? or it's just a thought
Save me from the ghosts of past
its hard to breath, i'm falling apart

Its hard to know if I am moving ahead
or just walking in circles
cause every light may not be a guiding path
it may just be eyes of the devil hiding in the dark

So tell me maiden, don't you see? ? ? ?
your beauty may save my beast
its never too late to hope for peace
when you are your own enemy.....

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
