The Girl with the Flaxen Hair
Her eyes glow blue
In her piercing stare.
With her face lit up
By her flaxen hair.
Her beauty, so majestic
No other can compare.
Tell her of my love?
No! I do not dare.
If only she could see it,
My love for her so dear.
Oh! How I wish
to simply be near.
For the words that I say
To fall upon her ear.
My wishes are outrageous
For she belongs to another.
But I will not give up
I cannot help but love her.
