The Word Never Said - Poem by Isabella Epona

Love is like looking
But not really seeing
A black curtain hung in front of your eyes
Just when the one walks by
It slowly falls

Love is like listening
But not really hearing
You just zoned out
When you tried to hear her voice

Love is like waiting
When the person standing next to you
Or pouring your coffee
You look away.

But when its true love
The curtain is drawn back
You zone back in
And you turn around and say
I love you too.
