Ugliness On The Inside
I'm not as beautiful as I thought
No, my ugliness is on the inside, mirrored in my irises.
My expressive and betraying eyes- betray me all the time
Because I can't help the animosity that comes into them
Is it wrong to be ugly? Ugly on the inside?
No, it isn't wrong because I can't change my heart no more than I can change my features.
I truly can't help the sickening feeling of hatred that enters my soul-
I blame it on my internal ugliness.
