vignettes of the sea: vi

cutting the mist
flew a flock…

the sea was filled with
ripples set by
the still sleepy rays
slowly and steadily
penetrating the deep
slumberous waters

this morning
a divine orange patch
spread itself little by little
across the hazy waters

the mist-canopy
that so far had clung
to the sea was forced
to let loose its grip
