I want to be your rock
The steady anchor at sea
Just grab hold of my hand
Just trust me

I see a blank page in front of me
I feel the work trying to be free
I draw it up with my fountain pen
I do the labor of ten thousand men
...

Have you ever felt empty
All your emotion drained
Have you ever thought you see
Through the night as it rained
...

How do we live in this world of pain
How do we smile at this misery
How can we possibly still stay sane
How can we possibly be
...

I walk alone
I feel the pain
My senses honed
For there, my bane
...

You have one,
day left they told me
You will die,
and will be set free
...

There were once walls, around my core
There were once guards, wielding swords
Then they all, just disappeared
On the path, to my heart
...

I'm tired of
This empty life
I'm weathering
Through all the strife
...

I woke up, with fear in my heart
A fear of the world, and the night in the dark
The nightmare passed, but it's darkness still there
Then the light came, in the form of her care
