I wish I could love,
The man of my choice.
Searching for him with freedom,
Among all the other boys.
...
Lost in the nights, nights of the darkness,
Messing with my thoughts, searching for excuses.
Wanting to be the same, no way to get in the past,
But maybe this is life to ignore such abuses.
...
I’m a human being,
Can’t always be the right.
Teaching myself with struggle,
As I lay in the night.
...
The Color Of Love
I wish I could love,
The man of my choice.
Searching for him with freedom,
Among all the other boys.
Never had to worry,
If he’s black or white.
The only thing I wanted,
For us to never fight.
Living with love and peace,
Crying for each other.
Every word making us strong,
Bringing us more close.
The look in his eyes,
Showing me I’m loved.
The touch of his hands,
Proving I’m secured.
Wish the skin colors,
Never made differences.
Life would have been so easy,
Without such preferences.
Then only love would be around,
With the only one color of the soul.
Sharing the warmth of peace in this world,
Showing that love is more powerful.
