Shimmering on
Fragile wings of gossamer;
Our thoughts

He's cold and he's hungry
As his feet hit the streets
But it's better
Than what waits for him at home.

Brightly colored lights
Twinkle and dance
Across the frozen tundra
Of my soul...

Thoughts,
Draped in shadow,
Floating in the mist of my mind;
Threads of inspiration
...

Long after my footsteps
Cease to walk this mortal Earth
And my physical being has turned to dust,
My presence will remain.
...

My muse is such a fickle thing;
She strikes
Just when she pleases.
But when she whispers in the night
...

Silver wings now take flight
Through the darkness
Of the night;
Feathered fancy of my soul
...

The flame
Of a flickering candle
Illuminates
The dark recesses of my life
...

The threads of my life
Are woven in Time.
Patterns emerge in an
Eternal dance and fragile
